Can i have 2 mice with separate cursors on one computer?

hi, i was wondering if it was possible to have two mouses connected to a computed, and both have different cursors and neither mouse affects the other one, and where to get this software if it exists?

info:

Windows vista

one mouse is Wireless USB

one mouse is an old one

  1. Well, honestly I don't think Vista has instruction sets for two mice. For instance, what happens when one mouse drags an icon, then the other clicks on the icon while it is being dragged? Which mouse gets to drag? This is just a small example, but for this to happen, the instructions need to be there.


  2. No, although if you had a mac you could use two mouses at once, with the same cursor though.

    So PCs do allow a wireless USB and old, corded mouse work together, still with only one cursor.

  3. I've seen this in a game.  I was able to play a two player game and control the cursors with two different mice.

    I curse the two on the floor, but the desktop one works fine.
