Can i have a Criminal Mischief and Hit & Run charge and become a military police?

I was a cop for three years and im tring to get back into the field and i want to serve my country at the same time. So i was wondering if it was possible to ba an MP with those charges or not.

  1. Military police requirements are becoming very liberal, meaning that yes, you can be with a hit and run and simple mischief acts.  

    They are concerned with your ability to peg Bin Laden in the head with a bullet, not your duty to uphold the law, for most military personnel are straight and narrow anyway, except for drinking problems and rape.  

    So, go for it.  Support your country, and get the terrorist.


  2. No you are no able to join the MPs. Military Police are held to a higher standard. You are however able to join the Army just not anything that requires secret  or top secret clearance. Hope this helps.

  5. Sorry man, but I hope not.  I am happy that you want to serve, but the MP corps has kicked out soldiers for less than what you did.
