Can i have a Japanese and Canadian citizenship(dual)?

-both my parents are japanese

-ive lived in canada since i was 3

-didnt become a canadian citizen because i wanted to also be japanese

-dad lives in japan

-mom lives in canada but not a canadian citizen but is with a canadian.

-im 14

-my initial aim was to become a canadian, american, and japanese citizen

-i want to be educated in america and work in america, canada or japan.

  1. You can have dual citizenship until the age of 22.  At 22 Japan will require you to make a choice.  After age 22 Japan will not let you have dual citizenship.  You are either Japanese or you are not.
