  1. Tigers are wild animals and they do NOT make good pets.  One evening, you're feeding it dinner and a few months later you ARE dinner.  Exotic animals are not intended as pets and cannot be domesticated.  The operative word here is WILD.

  2. hmmm...well only if you live in texas. and it has to be caged at all times. and i dont think  that would be a very good life for it. so unless your a crewl person, go with something like a cat, that cant even survive one its own, much less suffer.

  3. if you work at a zoo

  4. come on, A tiger should be in the wild why take a majestc animal from its home they are wild and should allways be what if you got on it turned mean or got loose and had to be killed hello get a cat or dog

  5. yes, if you want to get malled to death!

  6. Oh no, I've heard leopards are much better, very easy to train to "stay".

But being serious, you can adopt them but can't keep them in your house, they'd... kill you.

  7. yeah you can, i have a elephant as my pet.

  8. That's.....odd. Ummm maybe, You can get a cat that looks like one lol

  9. Yes, if you willing to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for one, run the risk of being attack, as they are not domesticated, and feed it steaks (which isn't cheap either).

So in conclusion, I really hope you're joking as no one is that ignorant.

  10. you need a state linces, you need room for the tiger (i'd say at least 2 acres of proper fencing) it's a wild animal not a pet, so you cant really get too close to it all the time.  plus the amount of food it eats would cost a good bit.

if you have the time, money, and proper space for it. . . but i doubt that the ave person who comes here to ask questions would have that much money or time to do what it takes to own a big cat like that.

(i know i dont have that kind of moneys)

  11. try...to find and read about BERBEROV_Family ....LION from BAKU

          it was....a very sad history...indeed

  12. In most states that allow tigers at pets (most states don't) you need to have a special license to keep wild animals.  You will need to show that you have the training and the space to keep one and that there is no physical way the tiger can get loose.  Basically, you need to own an animal park and have a degree in zoology or veterinary medicine.  Even then, do you WANT to live with a 400-pound  beast that thinks monkeys taste good?

  13. "Tigers are hunters—predators armed with tools and instincts shaped by nature to be efficient and explosive killers," ..... "Birth in a cage, attended by loving humans, does not alter the animal's nature nor eliminate his capabilities; captive breeding does not wipe away the effect of millions of years of evolution and selection for success in the wild." - Richard Faranito (HSUS)

Remember the incident with the gorgeous white tiger, Montecore, belonging to performers Siegfried and Roy?

Also, keeping an exotic animal is a huge task since their diet alone will take a huge chunk out of your bank account, not including the special enclosure that has to built to house them, veterinary care and if you do have one, you need to be there for them and will not be able to go away on a Carribean vacation for instance.

Licensing and permit is often hard to obtain and you need to adhere to the strictest regulations and procedures in keeping exotics. You are also subjected to annual inspection and evaluation by the regulator.

I am happy with my domestic cat and she alone is keeping me up in my toes. So, no tiger for me. :)
