why don't you BUY one of the MANY BOOKS on the subject... Steve Colgate's guide to basic sailing is a good place to start... and by BUYING a BOOK you can have the book with you as you go over the boat and learn the names and terms.

It is impossible to name each and every part of a ship.  That would include, napkins, razor blades, shower heads and many things that are nautical by nature.  Instead attempt to identify what is unique to a ship
