  1. x = 0

    y = 4/5

  2. You can refer to this website :

    Hope this helps solve your question.

  3. eq. 1 solve for x, you get

    -6x =4 - 5y

    x = -2/3 + 5/6y  Now put this into the second eq. , and you get

    7(-2/3 + 5/6y) - 10y = -8

    7(-4 + 5y)/6 - 10y = -8 and multip everything by 6 to get rid of denom.

    7(-4+5y) - 60y = -48

    -28 + 35y - 60y = -48

    -25y = - 20

    y = 4/5

    Now plug this into 1st eq. and you get

    -6x + 5(4/5) = 4

    -6x = 0

    x= 0

  4. First you have to isolate either x or y in one of the equations

    let's take 7x - 10y = -8

    7 x = -8 + 10 y

    x = -8/7 + 10 y

    Then you substitute x into the other equation

    -6(-8/7 + 5y) = 4

    After finding out y you can solve for the rest by more substitution...
