Can i have my mum has MOH

I had a stroke about a year ago and renewing our vows

I am asking if there is anything that says you mum cant be your Matron of honour

  1. For a regular wedding, yes, it's fine.

    However, for a renewal of vows you don't have attendants ... it's not 'another wedding'.

  3. I've seen it done, at a vow renewal last year! I thought it was very sweet your Matron/Maid of Honor is supposed to be someone who loves and  supports you and your relationship with your groom/husband.

    If your very close with your mom, that's perfect!

  5. My mom and I are very close and she was honored when I asked her to be my MOH. I think it is sweet that you want your mom to stand up for you.

  6. No, don't be silly, of course she can! I know a few guys who have had their fathers be the best man. Who else to be your MOH? The best woman in your life I am sure!
