i know i am not supposed to have diet stuff but i did drink some of the crystal lite things in my water a few times (plain water is boring after almost 8 months) then a girl at work said they had the same thing in them as diet drinks! is this going to be harmful to the baby?

  1. yes you can as long as youre not taking any dietary supplements then youre fine....and my step mom lived on diet coke while pregnant....(even though caffine isnt the best for you she said the baby was addicted to it...lol)

  2. I'm pretty sure its fine. If you worry about little things like that, you will never get through pregnancy.

  3. I'm sure you're fine.  If you are concerned, you can ask your doctor, but most women drink soda pop all through their pregnancies, which is just sugar and chemicals, and their babies are OK.

  4. Since all crystal light pretty much is, is an artificial sweetner it is considered to be ok when used in moderation, this is the kind of question to ask your doctor if you want to be really sure though, because there isn't any real clear cut facts on it.

  5. I'm pretty sure that as long as they are not the "protein water" that they are safe. They are just flavoring, just like the stuff you would find in big cases in the kool aid aisle. It is extra sugar, so if you have to watch that, you may want to back off from them, but otherwise there shouldn't be an issue.

  6. It's fine.  I drank crystal light all through my last pregnancy and have been with this one as well.  It's the aspartame in diet soda you need to stay away from but even that is debatable.  Not every diet soda has it either and I'm pretty sure the crystal light doesn't have it.

  7. i drank those and vitamin water the whole time i was pregnant, because I hate plain water. my doctor suggested them because i wasn't drinking quite enough water.
