I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow. I went to the doctor's yesterday and found out that I was a little over 2cm dilated, 70% effaced, but baby moved up to station +3!!! she was at +2 a couple weeks ago, and i onewent for a very long walk before going to the doctors! Does anyone know what i can do to help the baby move down?

  1. Squats are supposed to help, but baby will make it's own merry way, and sometimes not until you are in labour!

Good luck & hope the last little bit of your pregnancy doesn't drag on too long!

Oh and btw I just noticed you are maybe a 3rd time mummy - baby is less likely to engage before labour for subsequent babies so all is normal and you may not engage any more for now! Don't rely on the head being engaged as a sign, you could go in any time now :)

  2. I heard bouncing on one of those big exercise balls. Good luck and congrats!!  :)
