Can i hook these subs to this amp?

2 12 inch alpine type r each is

Power Handling:

Peak: 1500 watts

RMS: 500 watts

Impedance: Dual 4 ohms

can two of those hook to one alpine MRP-M1000

RMS Power Rating:

4 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan

you will have to wire the subs in a series to get an 8 ohm load for each sub the wire the two subs in a parallel to the amp to get a final 4 ohm load at the amp. each sub will get 300 watts each. if you can get the same subs in a dual 2 ohm then that will give you 1000 watts from the amp
