  2. Hi immammadiane,

    Sure, you can hook the output of your VHS to the input of your DVD recorder and copy your tapes.

    If your VHS tapes were commercially recorded they will have copy guard. It is legal to copy them for your own use but you will have to bypass the copy guard. To do that you need a device like "Sima T120 GoDVD". It removes the copy guard and enhances the picture. You plug your VHS into it and plug it into the input of your DVD recorder.
