  1. you can use factory radio.you need to splice the rear speakers to this black box that has rca outputs.i don't know wat it called.then you need to get 2 gauge power wire and fusible link.stereo shops sell all this stuff try best buy or sound advice.i had 96 civic wit stock radio hooked up to a 2000 wat amp to four twelves,300x4 to a set of 6x9 rear deck and 6-1/2 components in the front.back in 1999.now i cheat.i splice a set of rca to the rear speakers instead of waisting all that money.

  2. has it got rca output. as this is what you need to send the sound to the amp.

if so your laughing if not sorry new headunit needed.

    if yes to rca.

    you will need

rca leads from headunit to amp.

power cable from main battery to amp.

earth for amp, either to bare metal or back to battery(i always run back to battery as it reduced's the risk of bad earth)

remote wire from headuint to amp (tells it when to turn on)

speaker wire (from amp to subs)

    various fork and ring connectors

you can normally buy an amp kit for about £30 which has everything stated above and connections from your local car audio shop.
