will you can house any bird thats smaller or the same size as cockateil with parakeets. and it also depends on the personalities. so take the birds out and let them get to know eachother.

parakeets can be very pushy, they might go after the doves, my male parakeets are fine with my dove but as soon as the female parakeet is in the picture she starts chasing the dove and nipping at her,  check out www.parrotcentral.net for more good bird info

Never house Parrakeet's of any kind with Doves of any kind,as Parrakeet's,will always torment and even damage them by pecking their feet and pulling out feathers,they will even go as far as killing them,by pecking till they bleed or die of shock.

They will also destroy any nests and eggs.

So it' a No. No.

Hello.

I would not do that if I were you . Ringneck doves is soft bill and they are very mild ...Parakeets ...some of them are mean and their hook bill quite strong if they try to bite something ( some are very nippy and it hurt when they nip at the finger ) So to be safe , I usually put each specy together , not mix , sometimes parakeets bite each other & cause an injured  as lovebirds do ( lovebirds usually gang up 3-4 of them and bite one of them off . ) TM.
