Can i immigrate to canada?

Question

I'm looking to immigrate to Canada from the United Kingdom, the reason i would like to move is because ive been on holiday there many times and loved it, and there aren't ,any job prospects here. so i was wondering if i would be in with a shot for a visa with these qualifications?

Masters Degree in BioChemistry from the University of Leeds,

Degree in Medicine from Kings College London.

Looking to be a cardiologist.

Of course with the qualifications you have u can apply for Canadian Immigration & there is a good chance for you to secure a job there. I am not sure if u need to pass any exam there or get registered with some medical association there in Canada but surely you will easily secure immigration to Canada.

You need to check that you have enough academic years for your MD to be recognised in Canada. Medicine is a postgraduate degree here but they will probably count your masters.

There are plenty of GP jobs. A cardiology residency might be harder.

No sorry you cannot 'immigrate' to Canada if you live outside it.

However you may well be able to 'emigrate' to Canada.

yo man im desperate to move to the us or canada

and im not saying no to you

but they mainly want peole with a trade like a engineer mechanic or joiner etc

i know this isnt much help

but there was a website i found on google that listed all the jobs neede in canada for immagrants

As a medical doctor, you would face some recertification exams and things like that although I do believe some provinces will give you a restricted license to practice in rural areas while you work on your certification.

Also check out the BC provincial nominee program, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/p...  They have a class for health care workers.  I am sure some of the other provinces are looking for health care workers too.  At least they would let you be a nurse or something while you work on your certification.

Aside from the provincial nominee programs, you can also apply as a federal skilled worker but it takes longer.

If you are british is more easy for you to be there , Canada is part of commonwealth so you can go there

You have good studies and i'm sure you can get a job easily there

With those degrees you stand an extremely good chance of securing a job and immigrating to Canada, h**l, you stand a good chance of being accepted into most countries.
