Can i improve my vocal cords?

is there anything i can do to imrpove my vocal cords to make my voice a bit deeper?

why is this in swimming and diving, but hey ho! I don't really know how to make my voice deeper so don't know how to help

Sing scales daily, it will take a lot of time and effort but your vocal range will gradually improve.

i'm not sure except like steriods( lol.) I think if you talk deep alot you'll get used to it and use that tone

dont drink milk, and eat cheese before you sing. and uhh do scales to streatch your voice. thats about it.

I do the opposite of what tera says and I smoke heavily as well.  I can and do sing like Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, Lee Marvin and Barry White.   I am naturally deeper than all of them.

I try to do the opposite to you and try to raise my pitch and after five years of singing I am only recently making great progress.  There are two reasons for this recent progress.

The first reason is the result of one single singing lesson.

The second reason is because I choose songs to sing at home that are just above of my natural range which stretches me and my pitch upwards.

I presume you could do the same in reverse.
