Currently i jog every morning for 10 mins. Just to wake me up, get my blood moving, and as a regular (albeit not intense) cardio routine.

However im looking to get into a more intense jogging routine, but i dont have time to jog more than 10mins in the morning. My idea is to jog tuesday, thursday and sunday evenings and eventually work up to a time of ~40mins. But does that mean i should cut out my 10min jog in the morning on the days i jog in the evening? Or can i jog 10mins in the morning and then jog 40mins in the evening.

Also, is the 10min jog the next morning maybe too much as well?

(Btw i know i wont jog 40mins straight away..im just talking about when i eventually work up to that stage).

  3. You can, if you want to. But, your body does need some rest time. Good luck.

  4. Keep doing 10 minutes in the morning.  It's fine.

  5. You shouldn't have to cut out your morning jogs.  Many people jog more than 40 min per day.  You should take one day of rest sometime during the week though.  Just make sure your eating healthy and getting plenty of fluid and rest.  You should do great.  I think working towards a goal in running/jogging really helps you stick with it.  Good Luck.

  6. jog as much as you like.

just make sure your body has enough food and water to keep your energy levels high.

    have fun jogging.
