Can i join the US Army?!?

i did high school in the UK, but i am an american citizen, and they graduate at 16 because they start earlier. i did really well in my gcse's [equivalent of high school diploma] and have the certs to prove it. i want to join at 17, my parents agree to consent, but will i be eligible?

  1. based only on education and citizenship qualifications only.  as long as you can prove your a HS grad AND are an american citizen then yes you could join.  be sure that you are a citizen and not just a resident alien, there is a difference.


  2. You can join at 17, not sure if your parents have to allow you to before 18 or not. The recruiters are professional talkers if you need help though.

    You are definantly eligible when you hit 17 though.

  4. Sure you'll be eligible if you have the credentials. Now just pass the ASVAB and physical requirements, and you're good.
