  1. Yes

  2. Hello young friend.

I happen to be Private Seargant Double Colonel at the USMC and I can tell you, it is a provision to have committed a crime, at least an offence to be admitted. We only need people who leave their conscience at home and have fun committing atrocities.

    Cheers!

  3. Provided that the issue is completely resolved from a legal perspective (no time on the clock remaining for probation), you should have no problem at all with this.

Extenuating circumstances that could be problematic are if you hit a female, small child, or launched an attack on the elderly.  Also if your original charges were more significant that misdemeanor assault but were reduced to that carge by an acceptable plea.

  4. You sure can. When talking to your Marines recruiter make sure your upfront about any violations you may have taken part in over the adolsents/adult part of your life.

A midemeanor assualt charge shouldnt be an issue!

Good luck, thanks for going military.

  5. If when a minor, yes.

  6. Ask the Recruiter.  I say yes, just be honest and forth right.  They will run a check on you anyway.  And there are waivers for everything.
