Can i just change my social personality?

Question

im not a very nice person, im very sarcastic and i am very straightforward. Basically, im not a people person. But school starts tomorrow, and i want someone to teach me how to be a warm and inviting person, and someone who draws people in.

So....how can i do it?

Why would you want to conform?  Why is not being a people person such a bad thing?  Just be yourself.

Since you are aware of your personality traits I think that you surely can change.  Perhaps you should listen first and respond much much later after thoughtful consideration.  Think with your heart.  Try to be compassionate.  You never hurt another by listening and just being still until the right words come.  Smile and listen - the opposite s*x will like that.  You will find that others are very interesting and interested when you are a good listener.  There are very very few good listeners out there.  Not only will your social life improve but so will your grades.  Teachers love students who listen to them.  You will learn new things and become a much more interesting person to others.

I just noticed your screen name - how about changing Ugly and Skinny to Beautiful Fit and Trim?  Most of us would love to be "skinny".
