Can i just purchase the part that goes into the back of my tv?

Question

it is the little piece that sticks out that the cable wire would go into. It broke off and I want to know if its worth getting fixed or if I can get it fixed. Thanks in advance.

It depends on how old your tv is.  If there is video input port (usually yellow, not always though) you can use that instead of the coax cable port by hooking tv up with a dvd or vcr player (put cable into dvd and then use video cable to go from VCR/DVD into Video Input plug on TV).  Video cables are the yellow/white/red cables.  Yellow video and other 2 are for the left and right speakers (doesn't matter which plugs into which for the speakers  - only matters that video goes in video port).   If you don't have DVD or VCR, you can also get a converter to make a coax cable into a 3 way.
