  1. in ohio you can go to the bmv and take the permit test but the permit is only good for one year.take the bike class.there is a lot of good info in the class.as long as you pass the class you will not have to take any driving tests for the bmv.


  2. Nobody is exempt.  Every body has to take both test.  It is for your safety and the publics safety.

  3. When i lived in florida i could take the msf course and not have to take a driving test at the liesen place.  Just have to ask.

  4. Well, if you only want to ride with just you on the bike, then in most cases, you can take the written test only and ride with a permit.

    I believe that permit will only last a certain amount of time and you will be forced to move to a full endorsement or quit riding altogether.

    You'll be best off taking an MSF (or MSF Style) course and take their riding/skills test which typically exempts you from taking at the DMV, although most of the time you will still need to take a written and eye exam.

    It would be best for you and everyone else if yo not get on the road without some proper training and knowledge if that is the case.
