  1. You need something with your picture on it.

  2. You have to have a passport now, as they are in the eu

  3. Take your passport

  4. You will get checked for your passport many many times going out of the States and when you come back. You MUST have a passport. To get your first passport, you do need your original birth certificate and a photo id to get one. Some states have passport offices in their main post office. Some states you have to go to the court-house. They also might have their own picture taking service for passport photos. If they dont have a photo service, ask where nearby you can get one.

You do need a 1 X 1 1/2 inch photo of you with a white background. You also have to look straight into the camera like you are taking your driver's license or state I.D. pic. Im an American living in Egypt right now the 2nd time.  ;) good luck!

  5. ooh... not sure.. There is a passport control in Dublin airport and they do check for passports, but not sure if your licence would be accepted.  I think you should check with your airline before you travel to make sure.. nothing worse than being turned away at the airport!!

  6. Not if you go by plane
