Can i keep a peace lily plant with my guppies?

i have a 2 gallon vase for my guppy fry..i dont have a pump for it so ill use the plants for oxygen, in all my aquariums i have bamboo in them and they do fine with them.. so if i cant keep the epace lily ill have to get mor ebamboo in there lol

  1. listen to soup n**i, he took the words out of my mouth, buy the fry a tank or give them to someone who will tank proper care of them

Both bamboo and peace lilies need access to the surface to keep from rotting.  When fully submerged, they drown.  These are bog plants that are incapable of extracting sufficient CO2 and nutrients from the water.  Because they are not aquatic plants, none of their gas exchange occurs in the water-- it is all at the surface.  Any oxygen the plants produce goes into the air, not the water, so they are worthless for oxygenating, and will really not use all that much of the fishes' waste.  Putting Guppy fry in an unfiltered, unheated, 2 gallon container is a very good way to kill a fair number of them and cause permanent damage to any survivors-- if you want any of them to live halfway normal lives, please get them a real tank with a real filter and a real heater.
