Can i keep in box...?

my friend let me have a 6 week old kitten she rescued..she is allergic to cats so ive agreed to pick up the kitty today... the thing is i dont get paid till next tuesday i can buy her food now since shes on dry food but i cant buy her litter or litter box till next monday... is it possible to line a box with rags , let her go there then throw out the rags...

  2. Use newspaper or magazines.

  3. put in newspaper that will help until you get some litter.

  4. if you do this the kitty might start thinking its okay to go potty on cloth things.. it could end terribly....  

  5. It's better if you tear up newspaper, throw it into a box that is lined with a trash bag.  tape down the ends of the trash bag so the kitten can't chew on them.  It will work fine, I've done this before.

    However, given that your kitten is 6 weeks old, I would reccommend feeding it the fake kitten milk rather then solid foods.  My vet reccommends that they shouldn't start solids until the 7th week.

  6. Find just about anything to use as a tray, ideally something plastic or line it with plastic bags, and then put some dirt in it, that should be fine.

    You don't want her thinking cloth is a potty material.
