Can i keep leopard gekos and bearded dragon lizards as pets in new zealand?

Bearded Dragons are very good as pets, they are low maintenance an are socially friendly towards humans.

Feeding them can get expensive when your buying tub and tub's of crickets although many people breed there own or buy them from on line stores which you will receiver more crickets per dollar then in pet stores.

Bearded Dragons are also a native species of Australia so There Should Be Some Native Species On NZ As Well, Therefore you would probably require no licensing.

I don't know about leopard gekos, but i know you can definately keep Bearded Dragons in N.Z without having to have a license. Heaps of people have Bearded Dragons in N.Z. They are sooo cool!!!
