  1. You can keep your phone number. My parents kep theirs while buying different phones at Best Buy and they switched their number into the new phone easily. Although you do lose your Contacts, Photos and anything you've put in your phone.

  2. Yes you can keep your number.  The billing information has to be EXACTLY the same for both the old carrier and the new carrier.  You won't necessarily lose your contacts.  There is a machine that can read your phone and sim card and transfer contact from one device to the other... photos and other things stored are a different story...email them to yourself, put them on an SD card.. just a couple options.  Some stores will charge you to transfer your contacts, others won't,really depends on the store.    Most important though is the billing information!  Just remember you need the account number from your old carrier before you can "port" your number!

  3. Verizon will check to see if your number is portable. Should be, most are. You just get the new phone, ask for the existing number to be ported to the new service (the sales person handles this) and you're set.

  4. You can probably keep your number.

Also, Verizon phones dont use SIM cards, so you will lose all your numbers and everything.

    Good luck with that lol.

  5. transferring your number from on cell company to another is a piece of cake they can do it within an hour
