  1. WAT R U TAKIN BOUT UR Q DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENCE

  2. Fish do not grow to fit the size of they are in.  Unless the tank is the appropriate size for the fish being kept the fish will become stunted.  Stunting is what occurs when a tank is too small for the fish.  The internal organs of the fish continue to grow while the outside of the fish does not.  Eventually, the organs fail and the fish will die a premature death.

The appropriate size for an adult jaguar cichlid is 75 gallons for a single jaguar and that is the very bare minimum.  A 10 gallon tank is far too small for a jaguar cichlid of any size.  You could start out a juvenile in a 30 gallon, but only if you are able to upgrade it every couple of months and keep no other fish with it.

  3. Yes fish will grow to the size of the tank, however the insides will continue to grow, stunting the fish and killing it many years before it should die,  of old age.   That fish should be in a tank no smaller then 75 gallons do to the size, the grow to at least a foot long,  If your going to have fish then it is your responsibility to help them thrive, not just live in a fish tank.

  4. dont do it!  i allready uder stand I made a mistake doing it but i dont have the money for a larger aquarium and i have no where to put it!  i feel like i am lucky cause i have had a jack dempsey and pleco in a 10 gallon aquarium and they have been less than half there normal size for a long, long, long time now and no stunted growing!

  5. no way! even dwarf chichlids get to about 6 inches as adult. it would be an absolute torture chamber. if your looking for fish that can fit in a 10 gallon tank, white cloud mountain minnows, zebra danios, barbs (even then, theyre nippy) and tetras are your best bet
