if you have reason for access such as checking a job reference or credit application you can get limited info.

No...its pretty much a privacy thing and the company will not give you any information.  

How would you feel if you were no longer seeing a bf/gf and didn't want anything to do with them anymore and they called the company you worked for and asked for specific details about you at the company you were working for (such as the schedule you worked, what you did at that company, how long you worked for that company, what your current address was, etc.)?  What you are asking is similar to STALKING someone.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING IT!!!
