  1. Hi Regina!

You won't be able to see any of the eclipse from Regina.  The nearest place that will see even a bit of the partial eclipse will be along the shore of Hudson Bay, places like Whale's Cove in the Canadian Northwest Territories.

If you're watching on the internet, the total eclipse happens between 3:30 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. Central Standard Time, with the precise moment of totality depending on where the camera is located.  Most cameras will be placed in China, so it will likely be within a few minutes of 5:15 a.m. CST for you.

You have a long wait for Regina's next total solar eclipse:  October 17, 2153!

  4. Not visible from Regina.

This is clear from published maps.

  5. turns out this solar eclipse starts in northern Canada. so your best chance is maybe seeing a partial eclipse but i doubt that because the umbra of the moon will begin to only shadow the sun in northern Canada. I'm from Ontario but awfully far south but I'm still gonna be looking out that day

  6. not possible....
