  1. no no no the deep treatment conditioners they have available only tell you to leave it in your hair for 10 minutes AT MOST.

The buildup and grease would be nasty.

  2. I don't know about overnight. But I often leave normal conditioner in my hair for 10min or so. However I only condition my hair once in a while. Leaving it in for a short period is fine.

  3. You can leave it in as long as you want; however you may find that going into public will not be something you choose to do until you have rinsed your hair out.  I leave mine in for 4-10 minutes daily (I like long showers)  and then every once in awhile I leave it in and after I put it in - I take a towel, warm it up in the dryer and put it on my head for 15-20 minutes.  The heat really helps the conditioner work.  I did one of those deep conditioning treatments at the salon one time and that was all they did, and it has close to the same affect at home with my $3 conditioner as it does at the salon with their high priced stuff.  Go ahead, leave it in for as long as you like - it won't hurt.  Just be prepared to rewash your hair if you want to go somewhere.

  4. Yes you can, I do it about once a month. Just make sure when you wash it out you don't use conditioner again. Did you know Pantene is about the worst kind of shampoo and conditioner you can buy. A survey was conducted and the best supermarket shampoo was Dove.

  5. nooooooooo. makes it extremely greasy and not good for your hair no no

  6. you could do it for like 30 mins :]

  7. It`s not going to hurt your hair but there is no need for you to leave it in your hair. It`s like filling a glass with water once it full and you try to force more it just over flows. Your basically just wasting product and probably not getting a good night sleep. Try this. After shampooing your hair towel dry your hair really good. Then apply your conditioner. cover with plastic wrap and apply warm heat from your blow dryer for about five minutes. Its ok to stop in between minutes. The heat will open your hair shaft and force conditioner into your cuticle. That is the best way and how professionals treat dry hair, except we use seated hair dryers. I recommend Protopack 5 by: Matrix or It`s a 10 by: TGI. Once a month should be all you need, unless you have extremely over processed hair. I hope the imfo helped GOOD LUCK!

  8. if it is a well known name brand conditioner like pantene or something else it has value wich mean it should work good and you shouldnt have to leave it on overnight for your hair to be soft, plus it is not good for it anyway it will make your hair dry.

  9. well, im african american and when i leave conditioner in my hair, there is no damage done.. you might be different.

  10. You could leave it in for 10 minutes with a towel wrapped around your head or a shower cap on because the heat is trapped and allows the product to be absorbed into the hair. Then make sure you wash it out, because it will make your hair greasy and uncomfortable.
