  1. Normally I wouldn't keep my CPU case open. I'd focus more on improving the airflow and cooling systems within the compartment.

  2. no u cant do thi s with ur pc

  3. leaving your pc case open wont do anything to it, what i did when my old machine had overheating issues was take off its left and right side's off the case and then turned off all fans (except those that were on the motherboard such as the CPU fan dear god dont turn that off) and then took a gigantic fan that spun the air around in a circular motion (got it from walmart for 40 bucks) and then put it to the side of the case and it kept the hdd's at 16*c cpu at 40*c mobo at 28*c and all of those are cold as h**l for pc standards of heat (the cpu was an amd so that would explain the 40*)

  4. You only need to worry about 2 things.  First: make sure nothing bumps into your unprotected components.  Secondly, if your case's intake fans have dust filters, then dust will collect quicker.  If they don't have the filters then it really doesn't matter.

It will say cooler with the side panel off, especially if you don't have good airflow through your case.

  5. yes u can

it might actually make it run better with cooler air coming in

  6. Actually taking the side panel off may hamper cooling on a rig if you have a case with good airflow. My rig runs cooler with the side panel on. I have a lot of fans. Most brand name computers come with wimpy cooling and taking the side panel off will make them run cooler. I wouldn't worry thou. I build them and run them for hours with both side panels and even with the top panels off sometimes. Biggest thing is to be sure you dont have a cat or dog thats gonna chew on cables or people that will accidently put their foot into the case.
