    nice job foxy :)

  3. This answer can really vary...

Who's name is the car in?  If still in your father's name the auto policy needs to be changed to read:  In the Estate of ______ ______ (your father's name)

    Who's executor of estate?

If there is an executor or executress of estate then that person can give you permission to drive the car but the auto policy needs to be set up in the Estate of ____ ____ (your father's name) and you need to give your insurance company a copy of the short certificate proving who is executor of estate.

If there is NO ESTATE CREATED then NO YOU CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR... only because your father cannot give you permission to drive the car since he is no longer here to give you permission. BUT you still need to get the auto policy into the Estate Of __ ___ for legal purposes.

I hope this helps and I am very sorry for your loss.

    Good luck with everything.

  4. Great job Foxy!!

  5. yes... his property becomes your property (unless a will or something else states otherwise). You should find a way to get the car in your name though. Your state DMV can help you with that.
