  1. Yes but you'll need a provisional driving licence, will have to display L plates and will need to pass the CBT (Compulsary Basic Training) course first. (Plus insurance and road tax as well obviously)

  2. yes

    this is how it works

at 16 you can ONLY ride a 50CC

    at 17 125CC ONLY

you must 1st complete a cbt which lasts for 2 years

with in two years you have to do your theory and your practical test

once you have done that you will get a full licence

have a look at this link  it will explain ever think you need to know ..

  3. yea u need lisence tho

  4. It would be good for a beginner, but there are a few issues.

Firstly the bike has no MOT or tax. It may not need any work done, but since a buyer could get shot of a bike much easier with these documents then the question is why haven't they put it through its test. The test is straightforward and relatively inexpensive so I would have issues if they haven't put it through.

Secondly, as far as I am aware, but if you want to do your full test, you need a bike of between 120cc and 125cc. This bike would not be eligible.

Resale values of 50cc tend to be low since the assumption is that 16 year olds buy them, thrash them about the place until they are 17 and then move on.

I think that if you really want a 50 cc bike this looks good, but be careful. Also check to see what everyone else is selling their bikes at as you want to be sure of a good bargain. If you are looking at a bike, try and get someone who knows a bit about engines to come as well, especially if the bike does not have an MOT.
