Yes and as you get older you will come to view many of your friend's like sister's and close family.  Your lucky to have each other.

Why not - if you are close??

Im guessing its nice to have a close family - I only see mine at funerals and weddings which is quite sad.

Yea, I don't know what the difference is, except that I live with my brother and sister and not my cousins. I come from a really big family, and see my closer cousins more. We hang out like friends, there is nothing wrong with liking your cousin as more of your immediate family.
