sister, musical instruments is forbidden.  calling Allah with haram means is surely not a good thing, but better than those music that mention love, s*x etc.  

now i hope you accept that musical instruments are forbidden, and then work on it.  and no point asking is it okay is it okay...  you know what i mean?

why go in between and around to do the sin?  but if you don't accept musical instruments are forbidden, then that's a different story.

usually sinning like backbiting, lying, cheating etc. doesn't break the fast, but weakens it(reduces it in rewards).

I listen to music and feel guilty and hopefully i will stop :] You can listen anything to do with Ramadan or duahs.

It doesn't break you fast, but it's advisable you don't listen to music much, and devote your time to reading The Quran :)

The important thing is that we do things without questioning. Because some guy who wandered the desert for days with nothing much to drink or eat told us so for thousands of years ago.
