Can i lose weight 20-30 lbs in 4 months?

i am fifteen & i am tired of being fat.

i want to lose at least 20- 30lbs in 4 months.

This is my plan to get to my goal weight.

- eat right no sodas or sweets or fast food.

- Eat only healthy foods & only drink water & low sugar/calorie drinks.

- work out on my bike for 30-40 min or walking around my neighborhood everyday day.

- And staying motivated.

Do you think this plan will work?

  1. I believe so but also I would fit running in there. Running will burn off some belly fat and leg fat and strengthen your legs. Also try not to cut off all food. Whatever you stop eating you have to eat food that is nutrious like fruit. If you eat a bowl of fruit in the morning you wont be hungry until lunch. Fruit also is low in calories. For the food portion and exercise portion I would reccomend watching the today show on nbc. It offers great advice and products from personal trainers and nutrionists usually once or twice during the week. That really inspired me. But I also think that you should exercise in other ways too. Maybe if you go to the gym and lift weights or do crunchs, because that would strengthen your core (stomach area). I would reccomend a personal trainer because they would keep track of everything that you are doing and they would also teach you the right way to use equipment, so you dont hurt yourself.   2. well yes.. it will work if you have discipline in your self and your motive is very strong..... and also don't eat to much carbohydrates and fatty foods... and minimize your rice intake.. don't take sugar-free foods... because there's no such thing as sugar-free.. it is cancerous dude,,, I know your experience because I am also 15, but when I was 8-14 years old.. i was very fat..

    think of things that will keep u motivated.

    examples

    1. tell ur parents

    2. weight and record your weight once a week. NO MORE than once a week so therefore your results will seem larger

    3. tell your friends

    4. Think of the beach!

  7. 20-30 pounds is alot to loose in 4 months.  I'm not saying its impossible just a little unrealistic.  In order for it to be a healthy and permanent lose you typically want to loose 1 pound per week.  It doesn't sound like much but after a while it adds up.  However if you really want to loose 20-30 pounds here is what i advise you to do.  No sweets, no sugar drinks period.  Drink lots of water every day,  buy yourself a few boxes of special K cerial and eat one bowl every morning.  You want to eat about 5 times a day to increase your metabolism.  Don't however pig out.  Light meals like cereal for breakfast, maybe an apple inbetween breakfast and lunch, a good healthy salad or vegies for lunch, no ranch, try a vinegrette dressing.  Eat like a bannana between lunch and dinner, and for dinner eat like a slice ham 8oz or chicken breast with some type of salad again.  I would advise doing cardio atleast 45 minutes to an hour per day 5 times a week.  I used to be very fat and this worked for me.  I lost 32 pounds in 6 months but everyone is different.  Good Luck, i hope it works for you.  What ever you do, don't starve yourself because it will slow your metabolism and make you over eat when you do finally eat.
