Do you think i could make a banana smothie without a belnder?because i dont have a blender i have bananas milk and ice can i just squish the bananas?

  1. If you had the time you could probably mush the banana, icecream, milk etc. together with a fork or potato masher, but it wouldn't be a 'smoothie' more like a 'lumpy'.

    I have the same problem. I really feel like one but our blenders, food processors and the sort seem to be going missing...Mysterious.


  2. no because the ice will not have the right consistency without one, it will just be mushy.

If you were really desperate, you could mash up the banana, and put it and the milk into a bowl or jug and whip it really fast with a (I just forgot what the actual word is - the thing commonly used to whip cream, with lots of metal around it - egg beater?). The issue you'd have is with the ice - only a blender is able to get it to a really smooth consistency of crushed ice - you could put it inside a tea towel and bash at it with a meat pulveriser. But you'd be unlikely to get the same results as a blended banana smoothie.

    Sorry my answer seems to ramble and not make too much sense.

    Oh I just thought. If you have an electric mixer for use with cakes and baking, you could give that a go.
