Can i make a desk out of plywood?

ok i want to make a desk out of plywood and also paint it a very dark brown. i think i have to prime it right? and do i have to add something else to it?

You can Id also add some nails or glue

you can and its tough stuff too! it is difficult to finish it though....be prepared for a lot of sanding....also any exposed edges will need to be faced off preferably with hardwood...glue and pin these on the edges and sand flush.

Yeah you can make one! You can paint it If you dont prime it it uses more paint!

I'd be tempted to add thin timber facing to the exposed edges as plywood is pretty ugly even if painted.
