Can i make a long distance road trip with a high mileage '97 maxima?

Question

my maxima is used monday-friday to commute to my job and school. about 50 miles a day. it has 160,000 miles on it and the back tires are worn but not worn dangerously low or anything. my front tires are brand new. my oil has been changed regularly every 3,000 miles and it has run just fine for the 20,000 miles i have owned it. do you think it could make an 8 hour road trip safely? its a 530 mile trip

Sounds like it has been well-cared for.  I believe it is always wise to invest in a AAA membership in case you do have trouble on the road...will pay for towing, car rental if you do get stuck somewhere.  But, I would say yes, sounds ok to me.

yes i do think that it will be fine - dont forget to get AAA.
