  1. yes you can, try this Chemist cookbook

  2. If you spend the money for the equipment and learn what to do then yes you can.  It is not difficult but it does take a lot of time.  Here is how it is done.

Anything that can be fermented can be used for the first part of the process.  The more sugar the more alcohol can be retrieved. Water yeast and the product that contains the sugar such as fruit, sugar cane, sugar beats, Honey, berries and what ever you can find containing sugar.  Once the mixture has fer minted then the process of distilling begins.

The fermented batch is heated in a sealed container with a pipe leading to a cooling chamber.  The end of the pipe will deliver the alcohol to another container.

The mixture will be heated to 160 degrees F or so depending on the altitude.  This will let the alcohol vaporise and then be cooled to become liquid alcohol.  Often this distilling needs to be done twice to get good usable alcohol.

White lightning is the old term for this stuff.  This can then be used as is or mixed with other fuels.

If you re thinking of doing this to save money on fuel then guess again.  It actually costs more to make the stuff than gasolene cost even now.  If the government did not pay companies to make it it wuld be too costly to use.  As an individual the cost would be even higher and most likely at least twice the price of gasoline now.

My family used to make this stuff many years ago when it was a  real money maker.

  3. sure you can.......it is even legal if you are using it to run in your car.....you can do this by adding gasoline to make it undrinkable......there are a number of websites that will teach you how to make it.........if your car is not E85 capable....you should not run more than 25% ethanol!!!!!
