yes u can and it is totally free even to landline no. in australia

what u have to do is just download mediaring talk software from mediaring talk site for free register u id ;

remember do not prefix 0061 but use +61 and then no.

also take care that u can call for 10 min in one go u do not need to reinstall but to redial the no. after 10 min call it is free and worth using quality is too good for the price u paid

I don't think you can do free ones, but you can probably use Skype to get a decent rate.
