Can i make my own batman comic or graphic?

not stealing i know its bob kanes characters i just mean can i make my own story like alan moore did with killing joke

or frank miller with batman year one or the dark knight returns

  1. of course you can read batman beyond or watch the catoon it will give you some insight


  2. If it is something not to be distributed yes. If it is something you think of doing and selling then you have to get permission from DC Comics since they own the rights to Batman.

    You may have problems, however, if you try to distribute or profit from your work.

  5. If DC didn't hire you you certainly can't sell it but a lot of this fan art circulates.  Not  on-line note.

  6. Bob Kane created him, but the character is owned by DC comics, and by extension, Warner Brothers.

    You can feel free to create whatever stories you would like, you simply cannot make any money off of them because that's copyright infringement. DC comics would have to publish it in order for you to be paid... and they don't print just anyone's stuff.

    Just do it for fun.
