Also just an extra question is breaking in the subs when u first get them a myth or can i run them at normal when i first get them? and if not a myth how am i suppose to break them in and how long?

  1. Yes that will s***w up the subs. You either need to build your ported enclosure to the speciations of the sub or buy a prefab box(which I really don't want to suggest) but it's your choice. And I heard that it's a myth for the break period but some enclosure require a break period but I wouldn't just turn the music up way loud to start off with though.

  2. it jus depends on da subs 4 da break in time but normally u dnt hav 2

and yes u can port them but wen my friend did it it made it sound worse

  3. yes but it will sound horrible and most likely damage the subs so might as well take the top off the box install couple of hinges and make it a toy chest

  4. A ported box is generally bigger than a sealed box.  So porting a sealed box will make it sound worse because the inside volume will be wrong.
