Can i mix potting soil and planting soil?

Question

ok so i have bins for indoor use, theres holes in the bottom and its lined with clean rocks on the bottom for all my lavender and herbs. i bought this big huge bag of organic planting soil and a bunch of smaller bags of potting soil. can i mix these and be successful? pretty sure its going to be more potting soil than planting soil.

They are basically the same thing. you will have no problem mixing them.
