  1. you will never pass the point system test as a waiter, you need to be a skilled worker in a field that australia needs

  2. Yes. You will have a long WAIT. No chance. For those kind of jobs they simply exploit students sweating to pay off University fees and visa application costs. You may, just may find a favourable employer who will blag the system, by saying they are sponsoring you as a Senior Manager but you will have to grovel. If you get found out, they will bang you up in one of Australia's infamous inhumane desert detention prisons and boot you the h**l out permanently.

  3. there are numerous ways to move to Australia. Best way is to find an Aussie woman and marry her. Then you can move here.

Waiters dont earn big tips in Australia, but the pay is 17-22 an hour.

  4. You could probably do it legally temporally, in a working visa but I am not sure. You could probably do it even more easily illegally, if you just want to do it for fun for a little while.. After high school I moved to Ireland and worked as a waitress illegally for over 2 years at 3 different places. They were very lax on that and I have the same impression of Australia.  The first place I worked at in Ireland, I kid you not , only had the manager and one chef as a legal employee the rest were on the dole and supposedly looking for a job or from other parts of Europe and me from California.  Restaurants seem to be the easiest way to go.  Hope this helps.

  5. A waiter is not on the skilled shortage list I'm afraid, you will need more of a 'skilled' job.
