Can i open a beer delivery business in Texas??

i was thinking about a beer and liquor delivery service here in texas but im not sure if it is legal or not to deliver beer to homes or events ....kinda like delivering pizza.

Hmmm not sure. Contact the alcohol licensing board in your town/county.

They have drive through liquor stores, so I don't see why not. Kegs can be delivered.

On the other hand, Texas also has dry counties.

You would have to check into licensing with both the state and local governments. You would also need to check for exclusive territories held by local distributors for such things as beer, wine and liquor. You should also consider that you may face issues with customers who order your potential product being underage and that might get you into hot water with the state liquor control agency.

I would suspect that there is a reason this type of business does not already exist, if you wish to pursue it, try to find out just why it does not.
