Can i pack this in carry on luggage?

i have about ten pounds of wockenfuss chocolate i would like to bring with me to give to my sister in maui and im travelling from maryland... not that it really makes any difference where im coming from or going to.. but is it ok to pack this in my carry on bag?

i have never heard of wockenfuss, but i have carried chocolate onboard and never had  a problem.  

it may melt thought, i have had that problem.

i would check it to be safe because they change the rules all the time about what you are allowed to bring
