Can i paint my goalie composite hockey stick?

its orange and the team im going to be playing for its yellow and navy. it looks pretty weird haha

  1. yeah you can do that, but the paint might come off around the area where you hold the stick.  If you have white or light colored pads it may also wear off onto your pads.  I would just use the orange stick, it doesn't really matter.  And what stick is it? I have never seen an orange goalie stick.  my guess is RBK though.  I have seen people paint their sticks before though it does work if that is what you are asking.  If you really really want it to look good and be professional, spray on a layer of clear coat afterward.  But it might just be cheaper to go out and buy a new stick.  Personally I hate composite goalie sticks.


  2. My guess is that you use a Montreal Nitro - I use either Swd 9950 or an old Koho

    Oh and although you should be able to paint it, but it probably voids the warranty.

  3. ya, i painted mine dark blue, but put painters tape over the words, so you still see the brand!
