  1. Depends on the local restrictions that apply in the neighborhood where you live.  In most areas, it is probably NOT legal to leave your unconnected trailer parked on the street in front of your house fo more than a day or two.

  2. It all depends on where you live.  Check the local ordinances.  Maybe check with the local police.  If you are out in the sticks it is likely no problem.  In a town or city there may be all sorts of restrictions about what kind of vehicles can remain on the streets over night.

  3. You might check with your local laws before doing that. You dont wanna come home and its towed away.

  4. Stephe,

All the other answers were right on! Call the Courthouse. I just went to a city meeting on this subject in December. Even though we had ours licensed   and insured and have every right to park on a street.Kids have trouble using the crosswalks and jut into  the street  to see if a car is coming  and to see around a camper/trailer is dangerous for them. Also it is an eyesore if you are the person that lives across the street from an owner. We were told to put ours in storage during the off season but during the summer we could have it on the street if we moved it every 3 -5 days. Also it had to be 50ft from a crosswalk (ie corner .).We got used to having ours stored and its no big deal, now, after we understood the danger to the little ones. Even tho we have rights its not always "right" I am sure your mom taught you that :)

    sorry to be a downer,tho  :)

  5. I agree with the above answers and you should check with your (HOA) if you have one as well as with the police department because if someone was to run into it, you would be completely liable.

  6. you have to check with local laws, ask a local police officer, or it may be against your community standards like covenants, they don't want the neighborhood to get trashy looking so they pass rules like no cars parked on the front lawn

  7. u can........

  8. Probably not for very long, especially if you live in an HOA. I own a boat and my HOA will only let me park it at my house for 72 hours at a time. If you're not in an HOA, there is probably a local ordinance that governs it.

  9. This will depend on local ordinances.  The only way to find out if it's ok where you live is to call the city and find out what their particular restrictions are.

If you live in a neighborhood with a homeowner's association, you will need to check with them as well.
