  1. The answer is no.  When there is no sign but it's painted on the pavement, consider it marked.

  2. sure you can park there but you may get a ticket;

  3. not unless you are handicapped

  4. technically speaking, markings on the pavement are not legally binding. In order for the space to be officially considered a handicap space, it needs to have a posted sign.

    However, I agree that its wrong for someone to do this. I'd bet that most cops would still issue a ticket and that you would have a tough time getting it dismissed in court. Plus, anyone who knowingly parks in a handicap spot (but isn't handicap) is an absolute jerk. It just proves how selfish someone is if they think that their convenience is more important than respect for elderly/handicap members of our society.

  5. No you can not park there.

  6. NO, you should  NOT. I am handicapped and shopping is hard enough for me without having to walk miles to get to the store.

  7. No it is marked so you can not park there. There has to be a marked area and that does not mean a vertcal sign

  8. If you have the handicap stuff on your car ... license plate or the portable sign for cars that sometimes have a handicap person inside but not always transported that way, then it is perfectly legal to park there.

    If you park where it is illegal to do so, you can get ticketed, towed, depending on the local police having the time to deal with minor crimes.

    If there is some vehicle(s) often parking illegally & it annoys you that the cops are not taking appropriate action, there is nothing to stop you from calling the police on them, making a complaint that the law is not being enforced against this lawbreaker.
